This TwinTuesday... A Facebook-A-Thon, New Blog Hop, New Book & More!

Lots of new stuff this TwinTuesday! First, I've been participating in some blog hops recently and I thought, why not start one for TwinTuesday?? So, please feel free to add a link to your blog in the linky below!

Also new this week: my new book! Well, it's just a new edition of my book "Two Snowflakes" but I'm pretty excited about it all the same :-D It's really not all that different from the old edition, but I just went through and redid/cleaned up the illustrations... made a few changes to the text (there was one page in there that always felt kind of awkward to me, but I think the new one sounds a lot better, while still getting the same message across :-D). And, since I had to order a proof copy anyway, I decided to go ahead and give it away today! :-) So, look below to find out how to enter to win it!

I thought this was also a good day to give away the first copy of this new edition because, also going on today is a "Facebook-A-Thon" for the Fetal Hope Foundation: An organization working to raise awareness of TTTS and other fetal syndromes. As you might already know, from the very beginning, I have pledged to donate $1 to the Fetal Hope Foundation, for every copy of "Two Snowflakes" sold. Well, I released the first edition of the book on April 1st of last year... and by the end of the year, I had sold 65 copies. So far, since the beginning of this year, I've sold 34 copies... so, I'm just 1 copy away from reaching the 100 mark! :-D

Anyway, hope you enjoy this (at least slightly) new version of TwinTuesday! :-D

Note: We're always looking for TwinTuesday Sponsors! If you'd like us to host a giveaway for you, please feel free to contact me: jennifer@twinhappy.com

This TwinTuesday is sponsored by Two Snowflakes!

"Two Snowflakes" is the story of Phina & Bella: Twin Snowflakes who are tired of being mistaken for one another... until a chance encounter shows them just how special and unique they really are.

This book is dedicated to my little snowflakes, Anna and Josie: Identical Twins and TTTS survivors! As a result, for every copy of "Two Snowflakes" sold, $1 is donated to the Fetal Hope Foundation: An organization working to raise awareness of TTTS and other fetal syndromes.

How to Enter
You only have to do one of the following to be entered into the giveaway... but, feel free to do more to earn extra entries! Just please be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry... it just makes things a lot easier when trying to count up all the entries :-)

1) Reply to this post with your answer to the TwinTuesday QOTW:

Did you have any complications in your twin pregnancy?

One of the first things my doctor said to me, after we found out we were having twins (I had just sat up and still had tears in my eyes), was that I was now a "high-risk" pregnancy. As beautiful and wonderful a blessing as having twins is, it is something that the human body isn't really designed to do :-p So, complications are more prevalent, than in "singleton" pregnancies. For those of you who have read my story before, I won't repeat it here :-p But, if you're interested, you can read about our experience with TTTS here.

But how about you? Any complications?

Note: You may also reply on Twitter and Facebook. However, you must also post a reply here, letting me know you did so, in order for it to count as an entry.

@Annette: I always love your posts! I remember there being a million people in my delivery room, too... I suspect some might just be there to watch a twin delivery :-p I also like the idea of actually linking to the TwinTuesday posts in the blog hop... I'll have to modify things next week! :-D

@Becky: Oh wow! Well, happy early birthday to your girls!! :-) And, I know it won't get there in time for their birthday, but you are the winner of the giveaway! :-) So, I can at least send them a belated birthday gift :-D

Thanks Jennifer! Your blog always inspires me! :)

I was delighted to see that you've decided to make Twin Tuesday into a blog hop. (I'm such a blog hop junkie!) I was actually thinking of suggesting it to you, but you beat me to it! LOL

I have tagged your lovely Twin Happy blog with a Kreative Blogger award. You can read all about it on today's post here:
