Throwback Thursday: Birthday Parties

Since I'm in the middle of planning my girls' upcoming birthday party, thought I'd post a pic of my first birthday party... or at least the first birthday party that I remember :-p I believe this was officially my second birthday party, but since my parties always happened after my birthday (since it happens to fall on December 25th), I'm gonna guess that this was probably early 1977.

I only remember this party very vaguely... but, I do remember that cake :-p (Like many little girls, I did LOVE horses :-D) It was made by my Grandmother, who made almost all of the extended family's birthday and other cakes. That's my Dad holding me... I was totally "Daddy's Little Girl" when I was growing up... heck, I kinda still am :-p And, I totally remember that piano in the background... it's the one I learned to play on! :-D

BTW--just now, Anna came over and looked at the picture and thought it was of her :-p I didn't think so when they were little babies (even though people have always been telling me that they look like me), but especially at this age now, I can say that, they really do like me :-p
