Happy TwinTuesday! New twin blog, the new-ish blog hop and more!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late start... just having an ADD day apparently :-p But, finally trying to focus here and get this post done :-p

Anyway, no sponsor this week, unfortunately... but I've decided to not worry so much about having one every week. If someone wants to sponsor a giveaway, great! :-D (And, if you'd like us to host a giveaway for you, please do feel free to drop me a line at jennifer@twinhappy.com) If not, though, I'll just put all my focus on, what is the most important part of TwinTuesday anyway: the discussion!

And, as a way of furthering the weekly discussion, beyond just here on my blog, I debuted a TwinTuesday BlogHop last week! Making a slight adjustment this week, though: Instead of just linking to your blog, I ask that you link to a "TwinTuesday" post on your blog. A lot of you write TwinTuesday posts on your own blogs now, anyway... and, would love to get more to join in! So, if you have a post for today, feel free to add it to the blog hop below (and feel free to add the blog hop code to your blog post, as well). You can, of course, post about whatever you'd like... however, if you need some inspiration, you can answer the TwinTuesday QOTW:

What are your favorite warm-weather activities with your twins?

For me, one of my favorite things to do is go on "Lightning Bug Walks" with the girls. It's something we started a couple of years ago. At twilight, we'll go out and try to spot fireflies (we call them lightning bugs). It's now evolved into a set path that we take...

First, we start down the "magic path" looking for "wishing flowers." Then, we make our way back through the "spooky forest" where, we usually end up stopping at the "little slide."

Definition Key:

Magic Path = A maze of sidewalks behind a neighboring townhome community.
Wishing Flowers = Dandelions gone to seed.
Spooky Forest = A stand of trees behind some other buildings in our apartment community.
Little Slide = Our neighborhood's playground (not sure why they call it the little slide... the slide is actually pretty big :-p)

We usually do all this near twilight... there aren't always lightning bugs around to spot, but when there are, it makes it extra magical :-)

So, what kind of warm-weather activities do you like to do with your twins? (Would love to get some more ideas, myself!) Feel free to reply to this post, or answer on your own blog and add the link to the blog hop below!

P.S. I've recently joined a brand new blog: Life with Twins & Multiples! It's actually a group blog with many different authors... all Moms of Twins or Higher-Order Multiples. It's just getting started (I haven't even made my first post yet :-p) but I think it's gonna be pretty awesome once it really starts rolling! Be sure to check it out at http://lifewithtwinsandmultiples.blogspot.com/

I wish we had fireflies here in the Seattle area... mosquitos? yes, but fireflies? no.

We like to go for walks, too... but we set out to pick up trash. We head around our block -- or off to somewhere we've never been. It makes us feel good to be able to dump a bag full of trash when we're done, knowing that the next person to walk our path can just enjoy the greenery.

Yes, I wish we had fireflies here instead of just the pesky wee midges!! *itch itch* *scratch scratch*

Your twilight walk sounds like such fun! :)

I posted my Twin Tuesday post with my answer to the QOTW and my take on the separation at school issue. (I've joined the linky below.)

BTW, my twin girls LOVED looking at all your photos from Anna & Josie's birthday party on you FB page! :) :)
